Are You Struggling with Lack of Clarity? Having a hard time uncovering what you want out of life? Relationship? or just feeling overall stuck?
It is not uncommon for us to become confused, lost, and frustrated in life when we lose sight or focus on our true root desires.
Facing lack of clarity is like trying to drive through a snow storm without GPS and Headlights. We most of the time will make it to our location; however, only after a few crashes and scary moments of massive uncertainty.
You do not have to live a life filled with lack of clarity.
Take a moment and think about water, it is homogeneous in its pureness state of matter. Now think about muddy water, hard to see through. Nevertheless, when allowed to calm and sit still it becomes clear again most of the time.
However, how do you do this when you have all those things running through your mind. Things of worry, not knowing, unsure within your abilities, and just overall lacking the clarity of why you are doing what you are doing.
These steps I am going to share with you will help you destroy any lack of clarity events you are facing.
Step One: Stop and Sit
This step is one of the most important; however, it is the less followed. When you are struggling with lack of clarity the last thing you want to do is make permanent choice base off of temporary feelings. Allowing yourself the time to stop, sit, and calm your mind will allow you the needed few minutes to think things out more clearly.
Step Two: Find The Root Feeling
Feelings control everything in life. They really control us and our actions. If you are feeling amazing, happy, joyful etc you will have an amazing day. Whereas if you are feeling bad, tired, and just angry, you will only focus on things that feed into that. Missing out on that amazing person you been trying to meet or that amazing opportunity you been seeking.
Ask yourself, What are you feeling and why are you feeling it?
Step Three: Are You Feeling Stuck?
The feeling of being stuck or out of control of our lives yields from us not having a well enough defined purpose or desire we are seeking. We might have concepts, ideas, or fractions of what we want. However, we still have yet to define it.
Take some time alone and ask yourself:
What do I want?
Why do I want it?
What will make me the happiness?
Those questions, when asked and answered honestly will force you to address things that are holding you back.
A wonderful trick we teach in our Mindset Superior Univeristy Class. Is where you start with the end result or desirable outcome and work backward. This allows the person with an almost clear desire outcome to start to undo the puzzle that is holding them back.
Think about it as doing a puzzle. You will use the cover of the box to guide you in the completion of the puzzle. Also knowing what your end desire looks like easier your minds self-doubt factors and gives your confidence and clarity.
Step Five: Know When To Ask For Help
There is a stigma going around that asking for help makes you weak. I know, I used to believe just that. However, I learned that struggling with things like PTSD you can not do it all by yourself.
This could be asking for help from a Teacher, Friend, Parent, Coach, Or Mentor. You will notice that you can see yourself doing and moving towards your dreams and desire faster.
Remember, feeling a lack thereof, is a sign that it’s time for you to take action and move forward. Keep dreaming, Stay Clear, Stay Successful.
